Groove Nationals AC

Hi, my name is Jacqueline Petriello and I am part of the Iconic Juniors team. I am also one of the Icons of the Year for the 2015 / 2016 season. From July 13th – July 17th the Iconic Companies attended the Groove National Competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Icon was extremely successful over the course of the week with several numbers placing in the top three. The Juniors number, “You Can’t Stop Me” won first place in their division and the Seniors won the entire competition with their number “Trophies!” It was such an amazing feeling as the entire Icon family celebrated with them on stage! Also, a huge congratulations to the Iconic Kids who won second place in their division! It was also great to see our fellow competitors be so nice and have such great sportsmanship. In addition to performing, it was great to have some free time during the week. I loved spending time with my team outside of dance by going to the waterpark and boardwalk. I was happy to celebrate my 12th birthday there as well! Competition week was a fantastic experience and a great way to finish off the year. I can’t wait to find out what season ten has in store!
