The Dance Awards

Every year there is this one competition that lifts my spirit...The Dance Awards. For the past three years I have competed in the Best Dancer Title Competition hoping to make top 20. It has not happened yet, but it is making me work harder and harder each year…in hopes to see my name on the top 20 screen. Then we have workshop classes... MY FAVORITE part of The Dance Awards!! Featuring the best dancers and faculty, this is something that I always look forward to! It’s a great opportunity to be able to work with ALL of the Dance Awards Faculty along with kids from all different parts of the country! For the past two years, I won scholarships to go to one free Jump, one free Nuvo, and one free 24Seven. For me…it’s not just about the scholarships. As long as I absorb something from every class then I have won!! If I get the chance to go back to The Dance Awards and compete for best dancer next year, my plan is to work and train even harder so that I can achieve my goal of making the top 20!!
